Hey everyone hope the weekend went well... it was definitely an interesting one here in the tri-state area with Sunday being so crazy with the football and the weather. For those of you who are without power is Urban Active Fitness is offering free use of their showers in Bellevue, Western Hills, Eastgate, Hyde Park, Deerfield and Skytop. So if you need to get cleaned up and are without the means at the moment stop in one of their locations. Also in Florence Garzelli's is offering blackout specials on food and beverages so stop in at 42 and Weaver Rd and get your munch on!
Alright now that that is out of the way I have to put in some words on my first Cincinnati Bengals experience. I was in attendance at the game in some pretty choice seats in section 118 and unfortunately the wind was so crazy that neither team could throw very well which really sucked for the Bengals cause their air attack is where this teams best weapons are with Housh, Ocho and Palmer. Hopefully they can get on track next week but from what I saw yesterday this week against the NY Giants is going to be UGLY! And the schedule isn't getting any easier having to still face face the Cowboys, Jets, Eagles, Jaguars and Steelers (twice). This could be a really long season but in good news everyone we talked to at the game was very cool and well behaved which is surprising considering how bad the game :) Alright on too music news...
I'm super stoked about this news... Activision Publishing has unveiled the complete track listing for its highly anticipated Guitar Hero: World Tour, the latest edition of the hugely successful video game franchise. The 86-song set list spans 40 years and features the largest selection of music yet offered on the game. Among the selections, which are all master recordings, are tracks from Metallica, Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Ozzy Osbourne, the Allman Brothers Band, Coldplay, Sting and dozens more.
For the first time, Guitar Hero will expand beyond just guitar playing on World Tour to include full band instrumentation. The game will go head-to-head this fall with Rock Band 2, the second edition of its biggest competitor.
In addition to contributing three songs, the members of Tool have also helped design a new concert venue in the game.
More downloadable music will be available for the game, including Metallica's entire new Death Magnetic album.

Metallica's new album, Death Magnetic, is on track to sell 500,000 copies in the U.S. in its first, shortened week of release, according to Hits Daily Double. The CD was released worldwide on Friday (September 12th), although almost all albums are issued in the U.S. on Tuesdays. The group's last studio effort, 2003's St. Anger, was pushed up to a Thursday, June 5th release from its original arrival date of June 10th to combat Internet leaks. The record ended up selling 418,000 copies in that short release window, adding another 363,000 in its first full week on shelves.
Meanwhile, fans who purchased a special box set edition of Death Magnetic in the U.K. must have been surprised to find it missing one thing: the CD itself. Many of the boxes, which were priced at the British equivalent of $124.99, were also missing a limited edition lithograph, according to Undercover News. North American editions of the release were not affected.
Metallica played a record release show on Friday at the new O2 World arena in Berlin, Germany, becoming the first musical act to appear at the newly opened venue. The band aired out five tracks from Death Magnetic, including "That Was Just Your Life," "The End of the Line," "Broken, Beaten and Scarred," "Cyanide" and "The Day That Never Comes."
All proceeds from the Berlin show were donated to a local charity.
And finally Buckcherry, Shinedown and Saving Abel will start their tour together on Tuesday (September 16th) in Moline, Illinois, despite the loss of co-headliner Avenged Sevenfold because of frontman M. Shadows's strained voice. Buckcherry is now the sole headliner and a statement at the band's website is billing the trek as "three bands for the price of one." In the same statement, singer Josh Todd said, "We're glad to hear that Shadows is fine, and can't wait to get out on the road with the band in November. We have a great show planned, and we are pumped to get on the road behind the new album and play it for the fans."
Shadows himself added, "We're happy to hear that Buckcherry will carry on with the dates we had scheduled together and look forward to joining them for a kick ass tour in November." All four bands will reunite on November 4th for a new round of dates beginning in Caspar, Wyoming.
Buckcherry's new album, Black Butterfly, arrives on Tuesday as well. A pre-taped performance by the band of its single "Too Drunk..." will air that night o ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.
A clip of a new Mudvayne track titled “Fish Out of Water” can be streamed at this location. The track will be included as Best Buy pre-order exclusive bonus track on the bands new album ‘The New Game‘ which is due out on November 18th.
The band will launch a tour with 10 Years and Snot in October, current dates include:
October 30th in Corpus Christi, TX @ Concrete Street Amphitheater
November 8th in Albuquerque, NM @ Albuquerque Convention Center
November 11th in Hollywood, CA @ Hollywood Palladium
