My blog...I will try to keep the PBR/Nikki Sixx/Jack White talk to a minimum :) I said TRY- so it's not likely...

Here are my boys on Jimmy Kimmel Live...can't wait for Crue Fest!

Ok, so my lovely apartment was practically flooded by a hot water heater yesterday....and a lot of my stuff was ruined. All material things & most all of it is replaceable. So I've decided to make a wish list...well, some of these things were never in my room & were not ruined by water, but I'm putting them on the list anyway, and if any of you Rockheads would like to help a Sister out, well stick an email in my box!! And what about you- what's on YOUR wish list?

Here goes:

Boots. I did lose a few pair in the Flood in Sister's Apartment of '08. A size 8 1/2, please. For ideas, you may go to http://www.lingeriediva.com. I prefer over the knee, and ones without laces. Those take too long to undo.

A guy who likes beer, music, (the good kind), one who doesn't email me with his...uh...measurements, and pretty much will leave me alone unless I need something.

A road trip to Nashville. Who's driving?!

Nikki Sixx and/or Jack White

My very own barstool at Dickmanns. One just for me, no one can use it even if I'm not there.

I would like Oprah to come visit Richard. Just so he'll shut the hell up about her already.

I would like Tom to get over his bathroom fascination because it's just real disturbing.

More tattoos.

A very kick-ass 30th birthday party (that's July 7th, for those keeping score...)

A trip to Finland so I can go visit my best friend Johanna :)

Ok...that's a pretty good start...I'll add more as I think of them- see, it's not really about the material things in life!! Just the boots. The other stuff is just fun. But I do need those boots....

This past Saturday Lynrd Skynyrd & Hank Williams Jr. played at US Bank Arena... I went to the show, mainly to see Skynyrd because I had yet to see them live...And they were great- not a dull moment. I was never a big Hank Jr. fan- love his dad's music, love his son's stuff as well...but was still curious to see him perform in concert. Man how I wish I hadn't! It was not so good.  My friend Kevin that went with me said it best about two songs in- "He's either drunk as hell or he just had a stroke backstage!" We left not long after. Had I actually been a big fan of his, it would've been a real disappointment. (Although the fact that the people sitting right in front of me were gettin it on during the show, there was a bit of actual entertainment...) Anyway, Fin has already brought the topic up in his blog of the best shows you've seen...so what are some of the worst ones? Biggest disappointments? Any regrets of seeing a band you loved live?

My favorite show EVER is Twin Peaks....I was just wandering around on youtube (while hard at work on the air, of course!) and found this clip from the show...in my opinion on of the best & freakiest scenes!! I am a huge David Lynch fan but I also get creeped out & scared easily so as much as I love it his stuff scares the bejeezus outta me....enjoy!

On Monday, George Clooney and Renee Zellweger were in Maysville KY to premiere their new movie called "Leatherheads." I was not born in Maysville, but my family moved there when I was four years old and I lived there until I was 20, so I do consider it  "home" to some extent. (And it's where I got my first paying gig in radio, as the News Director for WFTM AM-FM) Well Monday the mayor of Maysville, David Cartmell, proclaimed that day  "Renee Zellweger Day" in Maysville....which got me to thinkin- where's my day? I'm from Maysville. I'm not a movie star, either, but let's face it, without 'ol Georgie, I'm sure Renee probably would've never even heard of the city. So I (along with my three big brothers Tom, Richard and Fin) think I'm due a "Day" in the city of Maysville as well....we'll see what happens- Mayor David Cartmell is good enough to come on the show tomorrow morning just after 9am, so stay tuned to find out what happens....If I get rejected, there's always Newport. Lord knows I've spent enough money at the Southgate House & Barts on York to keep that city a-runnin' for a while....

Yesterday I got my 2nd tattoo- and a HUGE thank you to everyone at Mother's Tattoo & Piercing, particularly Craig & Brian for coming up to the station, and Chu for doing an absolutely AWESOME job on me!! Remember if ya'd like to check them out, their website is on my links right here on this page.

It wasn't as painful as I was expecting, but I had my moments!! The best part was getting it done in the studio, where I had the Angry Guys, Fin, Dramamine Jim & a host of others to distract me from what was going on! There are several photos from the morning right here on our website (in the "Fotos" section, of course...) but I'll post one here as well, just because Chu did such a kick ass job!

Oh, and some folks have asked what the letters mean- those are the initials of my late grandfather.

Ok so this morning with the Angry Guys, we got into a discussion about dogs- because Skinny owns a Shih Tzu (which is one of many reasons why Tom questions Skinny's manhood....but that's a whole other story.) I think it's ok for a guy to own a "rodent" dog as Tom calls it, but I DO have a problem with the rain coat & umbrella for the damn thing. So we took calls on the subject, & one Rockhead said she owns an English Mastiff....we searched online for a picture of one, and Good God!! This is what we found- cute...but maybe just a bit too big for the car....

Just wanted to pass along to all you Rockheads- there's supposed to be a 1 hour condensed version of Operation Myspace featuring Disturbed on FX April 12th, in case ya missed it the first time around. Also- you probably heard the band will be at Bogarts May 14th- don't forget to listen to the 2 Angry Guys Morning Show- we have beat the box office tickets we'll be giving away all week!!

There's a pretty interesting show going on today live from Kuwait- it's called Operation Myspace, & you can check it out starting at 2pm today- here's the link- www.myspace.com/operationmyspace

Even though Jessica Simpson is involved in the show (I guess I should give her credit for going over & saying hi to all our fellas over there) you'll definitely want to tune in as Disturbed is going to be a big part of the show! And be sure to keep it on 96 Rock- the new Disturbed single will be out before the end of this month- in the mean time we have a :30 clip that we've been playing to give you a taste of what's to come!!
