Foo Fighters have unveiled the video for the band's new song "Wheels" at MTV.com. The track appears on the Foos' upcoming CD, Greatest Hits, due out on November 3rd. The clip simply showcases frontman Dave Grohl and the rest of the group playing the tune in the studio. Drummer Taylor Hawkins told us that the song itself changed over the course of writing and recording it: "'Wheels' was almost like, it was more piano-driven if I remember correctly, when we first started, when we did the first demo for it. So it was a lot, it almost sounded like 'Let It Be' or something like that. I mean, it didn't sound like 'Let It Be,' but it kind of had that Beatles sort of piano-driven type thing."

"Wheels" and the other new song from the hits CD, "Word Forward," were both produced by Butch Vig, who produced Nevermind, the breakthrough album from Grohl's previous band, Nirvana.

A deluxe version of the 16-track Greatest Hits will contain a DVD of videos and live performances, along with a 28-page book featuring never-before-seen photos from throughout the band's history.

Dave Grohl began a U.S. tour at an Austin City Limits festival pre-party on Thursday night (October 1st) with Them Crooked Vultures, his new band with John Paul Jones and Josh Homme.
