Weezer may perform its cult classic second album, Pinkerton, in its entirety on the road this fall, according to Alternative Press. The disc is being reissued in a deluxe edition on October 5th and guitarist Brian Bell revealed in a video interview at Colorado's Mile High Music Festival that a Pinkerton trek was on his wishlist, saying, "We . . . have a reissue of Pinkerton coming out with new packaging, and -- I'm praying -- a Pinkerton tour, where we'll play all the songs off Pinkerton, soon."

Bell also mentioned in the interview that Weezer was working on a rarities compilation called Death To False Metal, but did not indicate when that might come out.

Bassist Scott Shriner revealed more about the rarities set in a recent call with reporters: "Well, Rivers (Cuomo, frontman) has been mostly in charge of picking which songs are gonna be on that. I played on a lot of the songs -- some of the songs were around before I was in the band. But there's so many cool songs that we've recorded for records that never made the records, I think they just had to get out there. So finally it's gonna happen."

Weezer will release a new studio album, Hurley, on September 14th through the band's new label, Epitaph Records.The cover features a close-up of former Lost star Jorge Garcia.

Hurley arrives less than year after the band's last major label effort, Raditude, which came out in November 2009.

30 Seconds To Mars has just released an "epic" new video for the song "Closer To The Edge," but MTV News had one question for frontman Jared Leto: whatever happened to the video that the band was working on for the title track and second single from its latest album, This Is War?

Leto first discussed the clip back in April, saying it featured the band wearing military fatigues and carrying real assault rifles as members of a combat battalion on patrol in the desert. Leto said at the time that he hoped the clip would "start some debates and some conversations."

Now Leto told MTV about the missing video, "'This Is War' is the first video that I let someone else direct, and let's just say we won't be doing that again anytime soon. It's a work in progress. We're still working on it, and it's like we're waiting for the kidney . . . it's on the helicopter, on ice, and as soon as we get it, we're going to rush to surgery."

Leto did not go into further detail about the video's delays.

The video for "This Is War" was directed by Edouard Salier. Leto usually directs all the band's videos himself under the name Bartholomew Cubbins. Salier did not respond to MTV News' request for a comment.

The album was titled This Is War after 30 Seconds To Mars fought a year-long legal battle with its record label. Leto told us about the title: "It was an obvious period of conflict for us. There was a lot going on. It was an appropriate title. I did second guess it at the end. You know, it's not the most inventive title in the world, but I think it's probably one of the most appropriate. It says a lot about the history of our band as well and, you know, it's not been, you know, a simple journey for us."

30 Seconds To Mars will begin the second leg of its current North American tour on August 30th in Syracuse, New York, with dates booked through October 16th in Pensacola, Florida.

Stone Sour will play a special show in New York City at the Studio at Webster Hall on Monday, August 30th to preview the September 7th release of its third album, Audio Secrecy. The "intimate" show will be streamed worldwide at the band's official website as well as the site of its label, Roadrunner Records, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET. Among the songs that will be performed will be "Say You'll Haunt Me," the current Top 10 rock single from the album.

The band just kicked off its run on the 36-date Uproar Festival tour alongside Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and others.

Frontman Corey Taylor told us what he likes the most about doing summer festival tours: "You get a bunch of great bands, a bunch of people that you know -- it's basically like going to a traveling summer camp and just having a blast, man, and just doing your best to support everyone, and just having a really great time. At the end of the day, if you're not having a good time, then you might as well just be punching a time clock somewhere."

The tour, which debuted on Tuesday (August 17th) in Minneapolis, stops on Wednesday (August 18th) in Kansas City.

Audio Secrecy was recorded in Nashville and will follow up the band's 2006 sophomore effort, Come What(ever) May.
