“I didn’t know what would have happened. I had no idea (but) all I knew, we could see what was going on and we just went in,” Rose said.
Silas Rose said his instincts as a former wrestler kicked in when he saw what appeared to be trouble brewing at Children’s Learning Adventure Childcare Center next to his restaurant in West Chester.
Jason Lehman, 38, is accused of forcing his way into the Children’s Learning Adventure Center off Route 747 in West Chester. several people inside the center called 911 around 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
In a written statement Danielle Aguinaga, senior director of marketing and advertising for Children’s Learning Adventure Childcare Centers said, “Our team was quick to follow their training for this type of situation and responded quickly, they did everything possible to assure the children and staff remained safe and secure. The trespasser did not go after any person and seemed more intent on damaging property. We are working closely with the authorities to assure this type of incident does not reoccur.”
