Linkin Park have revealed that they have an unreleased track entitled Friendly Fire featuring Chester Bennington. Apart from their special event which celebrated the life of their late frontman, the Numb outfit have been been on hiatus since the tragic loss of Bennington to suicide in July 2017. Meanwhile, Linkin Park have recently revealed that they are “working up ideas” for new music.
One fan requested on social media to Mike Shinoda that the band just release the song right now, to which Shinoda brushed off, understanding what a monumental moment the debut of an unheard Linkin Park song would be. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that “Friendly Fire” will be shared any time soon. “You literally are going to have to wait years to hear that song, fyi,” said Shinoda
